Our Team

Sabrina L. Axt, Esq.

My dedication to helping students with exceptional needs started with my own personal journey navigating the educational system. As the mother to a daughter with dyslexia, I understand that navigating the special education process can be stressful and intimidating for parents. Having gone through the testing and IEP process with my own child, I know what it’s like.

In 2017, I decided to leave my civil litigation practice in order to advocate for my child and ultimately started my own special education law practice.

Leila Dodson, Advocate

Leila has a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University. She had aspirations of becoming an English teacher, but in college decided that being in a public school classroom wasn’t for her. Instead, she set her sights on special education advocacy. Her passion for equitable education and inclusivity make her a strong ally at the IEP table. She is a skilled listener, and she understands the complexities of navigating the special education system. In addition to hands-on training from Sabrina, Leila has completed SEAT 1.0 advocacy training, and is currently enrolled in SEAT 2.0. In her free time, Leila loves to go on walks, cook, travel, read, and spend time with her friends and family.
