I have been an attorney for nearly 20 years practicing in the Bay Area. Before shifting to this work, I spent nearly two decades as an attorney in civil litigation, representing clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned businesses. But in 2017, everything changed when I needed to step away from that career to advocate for someone far more important—my own daughter.

Like many parents, I entered the world of IEPs feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. My daughter has dyslexia, and the process of trying to get her the right support in school was stressful, confusing, and emotionally exhausting. I quickly realized how hard it is for parents to access clear information, let alone feel confident in advocating for their child.

That experience reshaped my path. I now focus exclusively on helping parents navigate the special education system—not through litigation or conflict, but through clarity, strategy, and confidence.

I work with families to help them understand their rights, communicate effectively with schools, and develop a clear, practical plan to get their child the individualized support they need. When parents understand how the system works—and how to use it—everything changes.

My goal is simple: help you feel prepared, informed, and supported, so you can get your child the help they deserve—without the chaos.
