Your child's IEP should reflect their individual educational needs. I help parents understand what's working, identify what needs to change, and make informed decisions about their child's education.

I offer two ways to work with me, depending on the level of support you need.

  • A Strategy Session is your chance to ask an attorney anything about your child's IEP, evaluation results, school services, or the special education process itself. It works as a stand-alone service or as your first step toward ongoing support.

    Strategy Sessions include:

    • 45-minute virtual session (via Zoom) focused entirely on your child’s needs

    • Review of your child’s current IEP or evaluation (up to 50 pages) before the session

    • Individual guidance, clear next steps, and answers to your most pressing questions to help you move forward with clarity and confidence

    *Strategy Sessions are a stand-alone service and do not create an ongoing attorney-client relationship. Additional services require a separate contract and payment.

  • Individualized, one-to-one advocacy for your child's IEP.

    When your child's educational needs require more than a single conversation, I provide individualized IEP advocacy tailored to your child's educational history, current needs, and your family's priorities.

    Every engagement follows a two-step process.

    Step 1: Review Educational Records & Develop an Action Plan

    We begin with a deep dive into your child’s educational records—including evaluations, IEPs, and progress reports. I review the records to identify gaps, compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.

    Once I’ve completed the review, we’ll meet to walk through what I’ve found. I’ll explain the issues in plain language, discuss what’s working (and what’s not), and share recommendations tailored to your child’s specific needs. Then, we’ll develop a clear, customized plan of action—together.

    Step 2: Implement the Action Plan

    Having a plan is important, but putting it into practice is where real progress happens.

    This second step is where we begin implementing the strategy we designed. Depending on your child’s situation, this might include:

    • Requesting updated or additional evaluations

    • Revising IEP goals or services

    • Preparing for and attending IEP team meetings

    • Helping you document concerns and communicate effectively with the school

    • Making sure the school follows through on your child’s IEP

    Throughout the process, I’m by your side to help you make smart, informed decisions that move things forward.

    Fees and Billing

    Full-Service IEP Advocacy is billed hourly at my current hourly rate. You pay for the time required to review your child's records, develop the action plan, and provide the agreed-upon advocacy services.

    The amount of work varies by case. The volume of records, complexity of your child's needs, number of school meetings, and level of follow-through required all affect the time involved.

    Getting Started

    Full-Service IEP Advocacy begins with a review of your child's educational records and an initial planning meeting. New clients must allow at least three weeks before a scheduled IEP meeting so there is sufficient time to review the records and prepare.
